What does it do?
The Warwick District Housing Strategy Group deals with community
plan housing issues by taking a strategic overview. The activities
of the group encompass all types of housing within Warwick District,
including private homes, council homes and ‘affordable housing’.
How was it set up?
The group was already established prior to the Warwick Partnership
and has extended its membership to work on strategic partnership
issues and housing issues in the new community plan.

The details of the 2004 – 2005 Targets are
- The provision of 100 affordable homes per year
- To meet the Decent Homes Standard for Council homes for 70%
of homes by 2007 and 100% of homes by 2010
